Dimitrios Sotiros PhD of the Department of Operations Research and Business Intelligence) has been named the winner of the fourth edition of the SECUNDUS competition. Our sincere congratulations!

We have learned the names of the winners of the fourth edition of the Secundus polytechnic competition. Within thirteen disciplines, one hundred young scientists from PWR, boasting the highest sum of point values in publications, and in 2022 were under 40 years of age and did not have a habilitation, were awarded. Articles published in 2022 in scientific journals and peer-reviewed proceedings of international scientific conferences, as well as scientific monographs are taken into account.

Special awards and prizes of PLN 10,000 were given to thirteen researchers ranked first in the group of awardees in a given scientific discipline, the remaining winners were awarded an amount of PLN 5,000.

My scientific interests are mainly related to performance measurement. I primarily aim to strengthen the theoretical foundations of this area and to develop new application-driven multifaceted decision-making methods that can support policy makers.
