Mission
The mission of the Faculty of Management is to conduct research in management and quality sciences and related key areas of social sciences and humanities in an era of rapid technological progress, as well as to educate leaders and experts for society and an innovative economy who understand global challenges and actively participate in creating solutions that respect human well-being.
The Faculty community produces valuable results for the university and external entities,
supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
Vision
The Faculty of Management at Wrocław University of Science and Technology is becoming a strong and recognizable academic center on the national and international arena in the field of social sciences, with particular emphasis on disciplines such as management and quality sciences, economics, and finance, offering services and utilitarian solutions for society and the economy using modern technologies in research and teaching.
It achieves this by:
- Integrating science with practice – conducting interdisciplinary basic and applied research and building space for cooperation between scientists and business.
- Strengthening the role of social sciences and humanities – emphasizing their importance in the modern economy and shaping future leaders through high-quality
education - Building a strong expert position – developing the Faculty as a center of entrepreneurship and innovation, a trusted partner for science, the region, and business.
- Creating an inspiring academic environment – supporting students and doctoral students in their scientific and professional paths, promoting openness, cooperation, and a creative approach to problem-solving among Faculty staff.
- To achieve the above vision, five strategic directions (SD) have been defined and operationalized, which are defined in the development plan as:
