Information of the Program Committee for the major of Business Engineering (KPIZ) to supervisors
of master's theses carried out at the Faculty of Management.

All theses carried out at the Faculty must comply with the document "Requirements for diploma theses/dissertations written at the Faculty of Management, Wrocław University of Science and Technology";, which was approved by the Faculty Committee on Educational Quality at its meeting on 11.01.2022.

The KPIZ, when approving a master thesis title, is required to verify the compliance of the submitted title with the guidelines described in the above document. In particular, the KPIZ will analyze the correctness of the master thesis title in terms of the following requirements:

1. The master thesis title should be set in the context of broader research within the discipline of Management Science and Quality.
2. The master thesis topic should fit into a minimum of one knowledge learning outcome and a minimum of one skill learning outcome.
3. The master thesis title should clearly indicate what problem in the area of management the thesis will address.

The role of supervisors is to ensure that the proposed title meets, without any doubt, the above
requirements.
