Asha Thomas, PhD from the Department of Operations Research and Business Intelligence has received a grant of nearly 550 K. PLN for the project "Human-Artificial Intelligence Interactions: Redefining Knowledge Creation and Sharing for Sustainable HRM" which focuses on the interaction between employees and AI systems and the challenges it poses to human resource management (HRM).
- Technologies such as machine learning, robotics and generative AI are rapidly being integrated into everyday work practices. Companies in most industries are now relying on a combination of human capabilities and artificial intelligence systems to increase productivity, improve decision-making and foster innovation. Despite these impressive advantages, this technological shift raises a number of issues related to organizational accountability, employee engagement and long-term sustainability, says Asha Thomas.
