Attorney Renata Kopczyk, PhD, Department of Science, Technology and Society Studies
Doctor of law with a double specialization (international and European law). Expert in the field of anti-doping education.

• Dr. Renata Kopczyk has worked for years with major national and global sports organizations. Her work with the Disciplinary Panel (Polish Anti-Doping Agency) and ISF Academy ISF (International School Sport Federation) is highly respected throughout the sports community. She has trained thousands of coaches, youth and representatives of national sports organizations on #antidoping principles at major world events from Bahrain, Macau and China to Kenya and Serbia. In 2024 alone, her knowledge and experience reached nearly 7,000 participants.
  She was recently elected Vice Chair of the Legal Commission of #FISU (International University Sport Federation) - one of the largest sports organizations in the world, similar in stature to the IOC and FIFA. Such an honor significantly highlights Poland's position on the global sports scene. In March of this year, she delivered a key lecture on anti-doping education among young people at a global conference in Cannes, organized by WADA.
• Dr. Renata Kopczyk is also a lawyer-practitioner - an attorney who focuses on the protection of human rights. As a specialist in this field, she has repeatedly participated in meetings on the protection of minors' rights organized by the #Ministry of Justice. The complaint she brought to the #EuropeanTribunal for Human Rights was not only accepted, but also contributed to the launch of a special pilot procedure that uncovers violations of the right to a fair trial. This action not only opened up new opportunities for the protection of the rights of individuals, but also brought about changes that Poland, as a convention country, must implement. This is a great success in the career of a practitioner, who at the same time brings such extensive international experience to the classroom at the university.
• Dr. Renata Kopczyk perfectly combines her legal experience with her academic knowledge. She is an exceptional example of a person who not only educates others, but herself continues to inspire the implementation of the highest standards - both in education and in the legal field. In addition, she is also able to take care of the education of the youngest - she often visits kindergartens and schools as part of the “Barrister's Tales” campaign, where she talks about the profession she practices.
